They are waterproof, wear-resistant, and capable of withstanding harsh environments. High-quality 7075 aluminum alloy offers remarkable strength and reliability. Capable of withstanding up to 12kN (2646 lbs), but it is not for climbing. This quick locking carabiner is one handed operation for easy setup/usage. Its D-shaped design offers both strength and a secure locking mechanism. Great for many activities like camping, hiking, backpacking, or simply as keychain carabiners or dog leash and harness carabiners, excluding climbing and alike.
