Tuesday November 15th from 5:30-9pm: (Beginner)

Learn all about your sewing machine and the basic sewing techniques you'll need to know to get started sewing on your own. No sewing experience is necessary as we'll start from the very beginning. Learn how to set up a machine - everything from threading it, winding and threading the bobbin, different stitch widths, lengths and patterns and what they can be used for to stitching straight seams, how and when to back stitch, what seam allowances are and how using them properly will make your projects turn out looking more professional. You'll learn how to pin, cut and sew from a basic pattern and much more! Walk away with a basic, lined handbag from your very first class! See photos here.

If you need to borrow a machine for this class please email us to be sure there is one available before signing up.
